Downpipe blockages from compacted leaf litter
Why it happens here
The Grange's mature trees drop leaves, seed pods and small twigs that wash into the downpipe and compact at the first bend. Once that plugs, the gutter fills and overflows over the edge rather than draining away.
Our approach
We clear the gutter and the downpipe in the same visit, using a downpipe jetter for stubborn blockages and an inspection camera to confirm the line is clear before we pack up.
